Dog Walking in West Long Branch, NJ

West Long Branch is a small, mostly residential borough, home to Monmouth University and plenty of quiet, tree-lined streets that are perfect for a dog walk. It sits right next to Eatontown, where Top Dog Pet Care is based, so West Long Branch is part of our regular weekday rounds. We’re insured, and we’ve been walking dogs in Monmouth County for ten years.

A dependable routine for your dog

Dogs thrive on routine. When their walk comes at about the same time on the same days each week, they rest better between visits and are less likely to bark, chew, or have accidents out of boredom. That’s why we focus on weekly, recurring weekday walks rather than last-minute bookings.

Setting it up is simple. You tell us which days you need, whether that’s every weekday or just the long ones, and we add your dog to a regular route. If your schedule changes for a week, let us know and we’ll do our best to adjust. Please give us 24 hours to cancel. Weekday walks run 10am to 6pm.

Good for families, retirees, and university staff

Our West Long Branch clients are a mix: two-income families gone all day, retirees who want help with an energetic young dog, and people whose hours shift with the academic calendar. A weekly plan works for all of them, and you can change the number of days as your life changes.

Franklin Lake Park

One of the nicest walks in town is the roughly one-mile paved loop around Franklin Lake Park. It’s flat, has benches, a gazebo, and lots of ducks on the water, and it’s a favorite with local dog owners. West Long Branch requires dogs in borough parks to be on a leash no longer than six feet and to be cleaned up after, and we stick to both rules. Walks stay in the neighborhood.
